6 March 12 pm pst PERFORMANCE PRACTICE CLASS


Preparation for the second semester exams begins with Olivia Tettü, Jonas Frangiere and Fabienne Baumann. They will be joined next month by Amelie Wantz. THE EARLY MUSIC GROUP PRESENTS

"GROUP X".

A recorder quartet of fine quality. These people have been all playing since childhood. They will perform a program of 4 part renaissance pieces. During their concert they will ask the audience to help them find a new name for their group. Please come prepared with suggestions.

17 Jan. Performance Practice Pre-Exam Concert

On Sunday 17 Jan. 2010 Geraldine and Anaïs will be performing their complete exam programs for their " entrée en certificate" at the Consevatoire de Fribourg. 18 JANUARY ENGLISH RENAISSANCE MUSIC PART 1.


Sim benefit concert 12 p.m. slt Jan. 18, 2009 at the Manor House in Renaissance Island.
Gorse and I will play all our English favorites in the next 2 concerts. Some of the greatest pages of 2 to 5 part music of the period.

JOSQUIN DES PRES like you have never heard before...


I am in final production of a CD entirely made up of the music of the great 16th century franco-flemish composer Josquin des Prés. This music is pure light, pure love and pure inspiration. I will be performing much of the music with Gorse Ferraris in 2 concerts in SecondLife.


The 1st will be on the 25 October 2008 at Music Island at 12 pm sl
The 2nd will be on the 9 November 2008 in Renaissance Island at 12 pm sl.
