Renaissance sacred music featuring the last mass of Josquin des Prés, Pange Lingua. Gorse will be playing some French bicinia with me as well. The concert is inspired by Tyrol Rimbaud and her beautiful garden chapel.

CONCERT 12 p.m. 7 Feb. 09 in Music Island in Secondlife


A concert of renaissance and baroque music spanning 250 years. Gorse Ferraris and Iggypleyel Burnstein will be joining me at the beautiful Music Island sim in Secondlife. The program will begin with a collection of pieces from the famous late 14th c.  Llibre Vermell de Montserrat. Afterwards we will go to England of the second half of the 15th c. with William Cornish and Henry VIII.


Two dance pieces by John Playford the dancing master, will be separated by a baroque sonata by Jean-Baptiste Loeillet.

Thom Dowd and Gorse Ferraris will be at SL Renaissance Island on Sun. Jan. 18th at 12 p.m. slt and at the Globe Theatre on Sat. Jan. 24th at 12 p.m. slt. We will be performing English renaissance music.

30 November 12 pm SLT at Thousand Rooms


Thom and Gorse are busy preparing our program for Thousand Rooms. First of all we are preparing some well known pieces from the early 14th Century Llibre Vermell de Montserrat. we will also perform 2 wonderful pieces I found recently by William Corkine. I will surely play a few pieces from my Josquin des Prés CD and some dance music from John Playford. I will also play  Jacob van Eyck and the 18th Century French composer Daniel Demoivre.
